This session was another Crisis Nursery fundraiser session, and the best part was the client was new and found me on facebook. Yea, facebook! You've been good to me. :) Anyway, Nikki brought her two boys, Brady and Gavin, ages 3 1/2 and 10 months. We started with Brady, and he just was not thinking I was much fun to play with (can you blame him?), but he was trying to be a good sport. I learned a long time ago that trying to force a toddler to smile will humiliate you and he'll enjoy it, so after a few attempts we finally went down to the swing set and let Brady just be Brady - a little boy. He relaxed almost immediately and we got some great smiles. The sun was high and he was on the move. Gavin, on the other hand is just at that stage where he's more aware of what's going on around him, and so smiles and silly noises will only go so far. However, he was serious yet curious, and his eyes came through in the images in a beautiful way. See their slideshow here.
Nikki made a very generous donation to the Crisis Nursery and even brought two items from their wish list. THANK YOU! It is much appreciated.
