7 "Things" to Bring to Your Senior Photo Session to Make Your Pictures Super Cool and Super You | Maris Ehlers Photography

I get so many questions about what to wear for senior pictures, and while it is about the clothes, it's also about more than that.  Below are 7 "things" to bring to your senior photography session to make sure your pictures are super cool.  And, super you.

7.  A sophisticated cliche.  A little black dress may seem like a cliche, but it really is true that you must have one and it should look great enough on you to be photographed in it.  You won't regret it.

6.  Encore, Encore.  If you loved your prom dress, your senior pictures can be a great way to get to wear it again.  Of course we might put you on a car or up against a bunch of dirty old tires, but it will look even better the second time around.

5.  Your passion.  Yep.  That's right.  Wear your passion.  Is it a saxophone, a good book, your dog, or even toe shoes?  These are the things that make your senior pictures "you" and we love it when seniors want to be photographed doing or enjoying something they love.

4.  Wrap it up. A gorgeous scarf accent your eyes in beautiful ways.

3.  A theme. Is there a decade of fashion that you love?  Vintage? 70's? We can incorporate this into a few or all of your images.

2.  Your game face.  We promise to not make it look all cutesy and cheesy.

1.  The real you.  Your attitude, your sense of style, your smile.  You're the real deal, and it should show.
